my baby dosent like latching on me when i try to breastfeed her 😓

Is she used to the pacifier?? I had to use a nipple shield! And it really helped :)

My first baby couldn't latch because the thing under her tongue was too tight. They were supposed to clip it but they didn't and now she has a hard time talking /:

It's not the same with every baby, I don't mean to scare ya. Have the doc take a look to see what they think

This is a shield. It's for inverted nipples or used when babies can't latch/ used to the pacifier because of the shape. My first night home was helllllll she wouldn't latch on and lost a lot of weight. The next day we went to the lactation nurse and she gave us a shield. Baby latched onto it perfectly. Ate for 20 mins and slept soooo long. I was in tears I was so happy. They sell them at target in the section where the breast feeding bumps are. The medela ones are the only ones I used. There are 2 different sizes to choose from, depending on your nipple size! Don't give up!! Breastfeeding is tough but you can do it ! 😊have someone run to target for you and get you one😘😘
