my ob suggested the Mirena or Nexplanon because the pill causes weight gain. Mirena is the number one choice by doctors.

honestly just the pill. I've heard so many bad things about iuds and the implants. look it up, I saw this story about a girl that had the arm implant and her whole arms was bruised and purple and it got infected and all this stuff. & when my mom had mirena she had her period for over 17 days and they had to take it out cuz it was causing problems and it never stayed in place (& they are supposed to even through sex or whatever ) the pill gave me no side effects & I was on it for almost 3 years with my husband finishing in me every time and never had a problem. then when I stopped taking it, the following month I was pregnant so whenever you'd want another just stop taking it. & it makes it super easy if you set an alarm to take it every day.
