Are you high risk or say you'll be getting more ultrasounds for a reason? Just wondering. I've only had 2. Haven't seen my baby since 20 weeks and am now 35, won't see him until birth.

Most people only get about 2-3 ultrasounds unless they are high risk or have had previous complications. I was high risk and had about 6 or so my entire pregnancy most were within the first few appointments to make sure everything was ok. They don't want to do too many because it can actually be bad for the baby.

You only get like 2 ultra sounds during the pregnancy! Unless you're high risk or they think something is wrong! I was upset too but thats just how it is!

And you more than likely won't get another one after the one at 30 weeks unless you end up having complications like leaking fluids or preeclampsia

I only get 1 ultra sound throughout my pregnancies. wish I had more. unless you are considered high risk, or they find something wrong. u won't get anymore, well here in my state anyways. every place is diffrent I guess.

I've had way more that's weird and I'm no where near high risk . I had one at 5 weeks 13 weeks 17 weeks and I got one in the 20's can't remember which one tho . And I guess my 30 week will be my last one . Ugh sucks ! @jacesterlingsmommy @smiles2@mommytoprinceaiden092915

@firstbabybump, awe, your so lucky. I'm tempted to just ask my doc if I can have another to find out how much my boy is weighing loo. cause I'm nervous he's gonna be as big as his big brother, he was 8lbs, 15oz 23 1/4 in long! crazy big. it was a tough labor. lol. scared to have another big baby.

@firstbabybump, I'm only 12 weeks and not high risk and on Monday I'll have my fourth ultrasound.
