Why are you allowing this? I'm sorry I read your post and got so mad for you. Breastfeeding, if you can do it and want to which you obviously do Bc u do in the nighttime, it's probably the best thing you can do for ur baby so why do double the work by formula feeding. What is she saying to you that is making you feel so inadequate?

don't allow that who cares how she feels she will get over it your milk supply will go down a lot from that do as you ease not as others please

I understand what ur saying and I'm sure there are many pros on formula feeding. But Bf is not disgusting, ur sis may feel like that but I'm sure others don't. I still bf at 8 months and my baby has 5 teeth and I cover myself in public, I've never encountered a negative feedback from anyone... She's just telling you that Bc she feels like that. I'm glad you are comfortable with formula feeding and Bc it seems to be giving u a break if those are the reasons why ur doing it that's cool but if it's Bc of ur sister.... Then my advice is don't deprive ur child of the goodness and benefits of your breastmilk Bc of someone else's opinion who is negative and ignorant upon the issue. Good luck with everything!

yea, I mean I wanted to formula feed, I feel like I can do more not having her on the boob all day and I still do it at night because any breast milk is good enough, says this page on fb I follow...it just irritates me that she made me uncomfortable to do it, so I don't even want to be around her sometimes because she's so judgmental to how I parent but if I say anything she gets so offended like I did something wrong so I just try and avoid it and I never encountered it either before I started living with my sister, I would breastfeed in public all the time and it was definitely noticeable...@kibella22, It feels pretty shitty because I'm a good mom :/

Girl u are a good mom if you feel u are doing what's right for u and ur baby. The way you decide to raise ur child is your choice and there will always be ppl that applaud u and knock you for it. No matter what in the end it's what you have decided for your child. Your sister probably just needs someone to constantly pick on.... And if I were you as unfortunate as it may sound I would just down right avoid her period... It seems she's very negative to you and it's very toxic and when u are raising a baby you just don't need that negative energy in your space. I've let go of so many ppl ever since I had my daughter for that same reason.. I just don't need to be made uncomfortable for the way I parent so I rather keep my distance and I don't regret it... I live in peace.
