how long does it take for the doc to call with induction dates ?

my dr had mine set up during my last appointment and told me the date and time before I left the office

Mine called during our appointment and came back in the room within 5 minutes with dates and times

I was told they will call but he had me set up a date when his on call but he said if there booked for inductions it would be a later date so should I call tomorrow to check because I had the app today

I just had my 36 week checkup on Tuesday. I'm getting induced at 39 weeks. Got a call yesterday with the time and exact day.
