Have you been tested for gestational diabetes??

My mums first born was 8lbs 2oz's :) , I was 9lbs 4oz's, my sister was 9lbs 7oz's my brother was 10lbs 9oz's :) So it is very much possible to carry a bigger baby the second time :)

She was bigger than average for 35+6 :) but the measurements were all within normal range :) x

I had a growth scan at 35+6 because I was always measuring 2-3 weeks ahead :) At that point in time..she was estimated to be 7lbs 9oz's :) She was born at 39+1 weighing 8lbs 4oz's x

Thank you ladies I calculated the weights wrong from the chart. If baby stays on the 50th percentile estimated weight 7,8oz if its 90th percentile it goes up to 8,7oz. My daughter was born on the 27th percentile I had a scan when I was 38 weeks and they estimated 7lb 13 ,I guess you can never be sure of weight untill they are here.

My second daughter measured on point for the amount of weeks I was but she was actually a tiny bit smaller than her birth weight estimate ...she was estimated to weigh 7lbs 5oz and she was 7lbs 4oz. I had a lot of problems with my first baby during pregnancy (she's perfectly healthy now though) but they didn't think she was thriving in the womb so we're thinking about taking her out early and gave me steroid injections, in the end they decided to let me go to full term and even slightly over but I had to stay in hospital for 3 weeks prior to giving birth and had daily growth scans. They estimated her to be 6lbs 60z but she was 6lbs 3oz xx.
