I have a question for anyone who might know something lol. So I thought I had a thyroid problem, got tested and they said it was fine. I have ALL of the symptoms for hypothyroidism. Constant miscarriages, sensitivity to heat/cold, can't lose weight, gaining weight out of nowhere, trouble sleeping, brittle nails, depression,...EVERYTHING!! I looked at my test scores and I scored in a normal range, but very low in the normal range. Is this treatable?? I go to the dr in the morning what should I ask him as far as my symptoms and where to go from here?? After my miscarriage last month, my gynecologist told me to lose 30 pounds before trying for another baby. I CANT LOSE WEIGHT THOUGH!! I've been on a diet for like 2 years (lol seriously) I workout 5 days a week and I'm gaining 5-10 pounds ever other week!! I'm starting to think I'm never going to be able to try for another baby😖😖😖😖

sounds like you may want a second opinion from another doctor?

@paigeann051786, I mean personally I would definitely get one from a different dr. Your weight can't be the only reason you have miscarriages, and if she isn't taking you seriously about that and is just trying to make it seem like it's your weight I would see another dr who might be a little more concerned about the other symptoms you are having. Good luck.

And it does sound like a thyroid problem so maybe you need to see a dr who specializes on thyroids

I have Graves Disease and I just found out during my last pregnancy and had similar problems. I would ask for a second opinion from another doctor. Also my doctor said when you are young it is hard to test for it unless something in your system flares it up. it took pregnancy for mine to flare up and for it to be noticed for the first time. Look for a well recommended endocrinologist and they can fully and better assist you.
