when I wasn't married, I never, ever would call my then "boyfriend" my husband, hubby, Hubbs none of that shit. if I'm a GIRLFRIEND, I shall act like a girlfriend. I'm going to go out, I'm not cooking and cleaning everyday, and I wasn't fixing to do above and beyond any girlfriend duties. I told my now husband, if you want a WIFE than make me a WIFE. you're not getting wife qualities in a girlfriend. needless to say, some disagree, but NEVER sell yourself short of what you deserve!

@mazeyy09, to me I think the actually commitment is when we made our promise to GOD at the alter. for better or worst...but "that piece of paper" is just as important. it is a shame no matter how anyone tries to justify it

(oops it sent before I finished) planning our wedding... but things happened and fell apart.. and we just can't afford the wedding we want right now.. I don't think there is anything wrong with acting like more than a girlfriend as long as he treats you with respect and live.
