So my baby girl does a great job sleeping through the night. But I have one issue. She's about to be 4 months old on the 2nd. I work full time so our schedule is a little iffy. She will do great falling asleep in her swing when I leave the room for a moment. But if I try to lay her in her bassinet while drowsy and leave room she will just talk, laugh, and cry at times. But eventually if she falls asleep and I lay her in her bassinet she's fine and will sleep most of the night. Ugh what do I do? Sometimes being a first time parent you just feel like your doing everything wrong.

If she will fall asleep on her own even if she cries for a few min let her! It can be such a hard thing to do! I made the mistake of rocking my first. She got so used to it, that she was over a year before she could fall asleep on her own.
