Ok mom's who have had c-sections, I have a rash on my cut and it itches and burns. It looks like red patches. What is this and what can I do to get relief? I've been having a hard time keeping it dry what do I use to keep it dry? Pictures in comments.

The scar tissue can still get inflamed but something you can try to run on it is coconut oil should make some of the redness go away

Make sure you're keeping that area dry especially after showers! Also I'd get some Benadryl cream! It will help with the itching! I had this problem after having my son

It very well could be!! Might wanna call your doctor to get it looked at!! Better safe than sorry!!

it's from moisture use some desitin if it disnt help make an appt to be seen

yep looks like yeast. wash it really good and keep it dry. I had to use a prescription powder for awhile but once it cleared up i just use regular Baby powder when it's getting red. my c-section was 2 years ago and it'll still do that every now and again....I'm a bigger girl so when it's hot is usually when it does.
