@brudd330, dangggggg I applaud you! Hahaha I can hardly keep it a secret from our extended family.

These were the two I was going to do. I think best to tell after 13 weeks when the miscarriage percent goes down. That's just my opinion because I had a miscarriage and was scared of it happening again .

My husband told all of his coworkers right when we found out and I wasn't ready but we managed to wait on the social media until we hit 12 weeks and had that ultra sound.

@craftycroft, thank you for that! Seems like 12 weeks is forever away. But I understand anyone can miscarry a baby.

Honestly me and my husband announced right when we found out and I was only 4 weeks because there isn't a "safe" place in pregnancy to announce when you think about it something can happen at any time. We tried so long to get pregnant with this baby and we wanted to celebrate this pregnancy.

@ashsloan, that's so awesome congrats! If my first ultrasound goes good this Friday I was really wanting to announce it next week.... This is our first one too and I have so much faith that we will have a healthy baby why wait? Haha

@dblevssss I just made sure I was absolutely pregnant first. lol

@goodbyelullaby, we have our first ultrasound Friday, but I took 2 tests and went to my doctor and she did a test too. Haha I feel like once I see the baby why not announce it after? Although at the first ultrasound can they detect if the babies heart is beating or not?

@dblevssss it usually depends on the baby. sometimes it's too soon too hear it but it doesn't mean it's not there☺

I was 22 weeks, I wanted to wait until I was in the second trimester and I wanted to wait until after my anatomy scan so that way I would get my early sex determination confirmed. I wanted to announce my pregnancy, the sex and name all at the same time. The day I picked to announce was my 1 year wedding anniversary.
