should i be worried and take her in or keep putting on her cream on her. i had destin wasn't working so i got A&D if anyone has any suggestions what i should do pls msg

put triple antibiotic ointment on it for a couple days but make sure you wash her bottom really well with her baby soap every diaper change and let it dry completely before applying ointment. You can even put pure cornstarch over the ointment to keep the urine and poo off of the area while it heals!

put her in warm water only bath and let her play in it for awhile then let her air dry as long as possible I know she might make a mess but it will help. you might need some nystatin cream and that will require a rx from a doctor.

i did that tonight i just let her play in the bath and then she air dried. not the medicine tho. maybe i can take her and maybe they can give me a prescription for it. that will be good

When my kids got like that i always used aquaphor or the gold A&D it worked great!!! Try that n let her air out for a little while.

@mommytoveralang, my girls get like that when they have anything acidic. Do the bath with no soap and air dry as long as you can. A&D worked wonders with us, and i slather so much on. Change her as much as you can and do not use wipes. Just a wet a soft cloth with water and use that. It'll take a little bit to clear up, but it'll get better

@aguardado5, my boss told me today to get that and see if it works. im gonna see if the A&D works first cause i already bought it and if sosent then ill try that!!@boenischpartyof5 thank u i will kepp that in mind and ill just use cloth insted if wipes. its first time thats happened. she has teeth that are coming in and she's been popping alot and i mean like 4 or 5 times a day and its lose kinda not like diarrhea tho. so i think her popping so much and getting her diper changed probably just irritated her butt alot. :(

try desitin works great just put alot of it each time you change the diper it will go away

and also if you think she might need Nystatin cream and it's gonna be a bit to get to the Dr. try using plain yogurt and dab it on with a cotton pad or cotton ball! @mommytoveralang
