My good friend pumped exclusively. Even when she went back to work she pumped well over 12 months

not sure if u would want to. but your work actually has to accommodate you if u have to breast pump. they have to provide u with a place to do it other than. a bathroom . if Dr writes it down that you need to pump every whatever hours they have to let you and it can't be your regular break. seriously.. just went through this with one of my employees last year

@mommylife2three, really hmmm? Never knew this thanks! I work at Food Lion in the deli and it's hard to get breaks... But I'll check

they aren't required to pay you but they do have to allow you to take the break AND allow you for up to a year and as often as u need to release the milk each shift. they can't cut your hours or punish you for this . its the law and if they try to cut your hours or whatever its against the law and its call retaliation
