So if the smell my dog's food wasn't horrible enough to me, now the detergent pods that I've been using smell horrible to me, and it's especially annoying when I have pieces that I have to hang dry so the smell lingers in my house for a while even long after the hung pieces are dry. The dryer sheets I use are a different scent and help the things that are dryer safe a little bit, but overall it's just terrible. I use gain flings for my laundry and switched which scent I was using originally because the store near me stopped carrying the one scent that I used to use. Anybody have any good detergent suggestions that they use for their clothing? Preferably the kind that comes in little pods, but I'm honestly not too picky though at this point.

the same thing happened to me..the smell of gain mad me sick and the smell of glad plug-ins made me sick I've just now been able to get to where I can stand the smell

@stjudemom, ugh it sucks, it's literally just that and my dog's food that I can't take, like I have air fresheners in my car vents and hanging on my rear view mirror and those don't bother me whatsoever and they're really fruity smelling (like when you open my car door it slaps you in the face lol) and in such a compact spot I'd think that those would make me feel worse than smelling the detergent. I'm hoping it's just that one scent that I can't take and if I buy a different scent it won't be so bad, but I might just wait on using scented detergent altogether and get something that isn't scented or dyed and just use that for the remainder of my pregnancy instead of wasting money on a different scent that would possibly still make me sick.

that baby just has your sense of smell way off..mine was bad I couldn't smell fast food.drink any sodas, smell anything that smelled like cardboard. .the gain and the plug-ins as well ..I'm stilled scared to drink a coke or eat out because I was so sick..but it has gotten way better..hopefully yours will get better to...I still have my days tho.but honestly I had to Change my washing powder. .and everything. .lol
