Just keep an eye on her, let her lick/clean the stitches herself once and then if you see her go for it again just tell her no and push her head away from them. Plus taking the cone off allows them to clean themselves which relaxes them especially after being in a different environment that they're not used to

Really?😁 hmm I'm probley gonna take it off soon and see how she does im just scared she'll bite at them, I feel bad cause she keeps trying to take it off and can't sleep comfortable @taaylor_victoriaa

I just got my little fur baby spayed last Monday and we only left the cone on for two hours then took it off she licked her stitches once and then left it alone and she seemed a lot more comfortable without the cone and constantly walking into things to try and take it off. She's almost completely healed now 😊

Aww, but you made the right decision. Soon enough he'll be back to his normal self :)
