My 8 week old baby girl is so congested. I already went to doctor and was told to use saline drops. she's still cranky...cause she can't breathe completely. I use the humidifier, steam room, I even bought nosefrida...she's still congested. it's day 3 now...how long does this last?? my poor baby
@maddiesmommy022916 oh okay that makes sense!! thanks!!! sometimes it seems like she has mucus in her mouth. she's been drooling. is that normal?
I do it before every feeding and before naps/bedtime and it helped a lot. Way better than the nose sucker the hospital gave me. I do the drops and leave them in there for about 30 seconds then suction her.
@Maddiesmommy022916 @mom2four210 ok I'll keep using the drops and the nosefrida. may be I need to do it more frequently. I only do it about 4 times a day.
If she is breast fed a little in her nose will help as well....if not saline....lots of saline (don't drown her) but more than just a couple drops and use the nosefrida religiously. She will start to clear up in a couple days.
my daughter was congested for like 5 weeks. it was awful. Finally tried little remedies saline drops and nose Frida and it cleared up in like a week. the nose Frida is gross but it was a life saver. She slept and ate so much better after that.
Yes, it's normal my daughter did the same. I would use the nose Frida for her nose and when she had the mucus in her mouth I would use the nose sucker the hospital gave me and suction her mouth. I felt like if I did it before ate and slept she could eat and sleep better.
