Kinda freaking out about our travel system. my husband's aunt and grandma volunteered to get it for us and it was supposed to have been ordered weeks ago, and then last night she told my husband they would order it last night and I wake up this morning and they still haven't ordered it -_- just a thought, but I'm pretty sure I HAVE to have the carseat to take my child home in and it could take a couple weeks to get to our walmart!!

I've never heard of hospitals giving away carseats, they don't really have those on hand, my husband works in a hospital and has never seen that. and you're correct, they won't let you leave without having baby in a carseat.

yea, my husband's aunt is a nurse practitioner at the hospital 30 miles out and I feel like she should know that I need it -_-

I've definitely never heard of hospitals giving away infant car seats. If that were the case why would anyone buy one lol

so yeah like @maybabyboy said don't expect the hospital to give you a car seat haha. I really hope it gets ordered and shipped as fast as possible so you have it darling!

It really depends. When my mom was pregnant with my 3rd sibling, my dad and her separated, and my dad destroyed all the baby stuff we had for my sister. When it was time to take her home, my mom didnt have a carseat, and this hospital happened to have a program that provided a carseat to a needy mom. My mom was given one but this was 12 years ago
