I have just duty in an hour and they might be a lil mad with me because furst I ignored the first letter I received from them because I'm barley 18 I don't know how the adult world works yet. no one directed me (besides my dumb FIL who said "just throw it away") now I'm forced to go or I'll be fined 1,500$ or go to jail. then I call yesterday to get excused but it's a stupid machine that doesn't give me the option to disqualify me going in and the machine tells me I need to contact them three days in advance...wth they don't answer emails or calls and I don't fit in any of my clothes so I'm going to wear a sundress which is against dress code for the court. I'll be bringing in a doctor's note saying I can't stay or I'll vomit on the jury.

You can asked to be excused when your there. They may not even call ur group number in and you'll be able to leave within an hour or so.

You have to mail in your disqualify paper so that they receive it at least 5 business days before your jury duty. I have to go on the 23rd of next month 😩. They can release you within usually the first hour if you have medical need to not be there.
