My doc said I could, but had specifics as to what I could eat. I had some cherrios (plain) and 2% milk an hour before my appointment and I was fine. Drink isn't bad at all, and I didn't feel sick or anything from it
Ask you doctor each doctor would say something different some say fast some say you can eat 2 hours before my doctor said I could eat one hour before and to not eat anything sugary the day of the test
I did. My doc didn't really give me any specific instructions. I had a small ham, egg, and cheese croissant at 5:30 that morning - didn't eat anything else, and went in for my test at 9. Blood was drawn at 10 and I passed. In all honesty, just try to eat like somewhat normal and wait a little before the test. You don't really want to "cheat" - or put yourself at a disadvantage by fasting if you're not used to it. Good luck!!
