I had a baby shower a day shy of 37 weeks pregnant, I was wondering if it would be crazy to have a welcome home party for her since I don't want a lot of people going to the hospital. Maybe when she's a month old? Like a welcome home/ birthday party for me? My birthday is June 4th so it would be a Saturday. What are your thoughts?

I wanted to do that since many people don't even know she's born yet ugh I feel terrible that I haven't announced it the birth of a child is so wonderful but I've been so nervous since she's in the NICU and I feel everytime I give good news to someone something happens 😕 but that is an awesome idea

Sounds good. like a BBQ or potluck where people bring items. nothing too stressing because you don't know how sore/tired/sleep deprived you will be. and it isn't flu season.
