is it perfectly okay for me to sleep on my left side at night? I had a friend tell me it squishes the baby. I sleep on both sides and back. I find it comfy.

@haydensmom1994, you can sleep on either side! I sleep 99% on my right side. If your squishing baby you'll start getting light headed/dizzy/nauseous.. Basically baby will tell you if baby isn't comfy. But they are protected by so much it's really hard to squish them! I even sleep like 1/3 the way on my stomach when I sleep on my side.. And I'm 36 weeks.

I don't get light headed or dizzy or nauseous. I slightly also sleep on my stomach too til it becomes uncomfortable.

Most doctors recommend you sleeping on your side or your back

The left side is actually the side doctors recommend you sleep on

Sides and stomach are good to go. My OB and all medical resources are very specific about not sleeping on your back. It can press on a major vein (vena cava) and cut off blood flow to the baby.
