My husband and I got alot more done today then what I thought I had to do. My plan was to just do thr dishes and finish packing bags. We ended up doing 2 loads of dishes, packed all bags, cleaned bathroom, cleaned the whole kitchen anf living room and also got some laundry done.
do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.
I still haven't packed my hospital bags 😩😩😔😔

Rant: Dishes! Does anyone else just HATE doing dishes? I would rather do any other chore over dishes. What household chore do you hate doing? P.s. I actually love vacuuming and folding clean warm laundry.
