from about your belly button and below. and mine lasted about 2 hours. takes about 2 min after they make incision to get baby out but it takes about 45 min to stich everything back up. .spinal is like just for 2 hours or so then it wears off. an epidural they put the catheter in your back that they can keep putting medicine in.

the inject the medicine in your spine and then take the needle out. it's stronger meds I believe.
