really need to start trying to get stuff for Maddox... my landlord threw all of our stuff out and it all got taken by other people.... :'(

that's what the officer told me when we called him and we weren't served with any papers....
They're not allowed to just throw your stuff out. They have to send a police officer out to serve an eviction notice then you have however long to clear your stuff before they send a cop to allow them to change the locks and duvh
I Would Look Into Taking Him To Court. They're Supposed To Wait At Least 2 Weeks So It May Not Do Any Good But If He Never Told You How Long You Had, I Would Look Into It. They May Make Him Pay For The Stuff That Got Taken.
I'm Asking Because You Can More Than Likely Take Him To Court Over It. Landlords Are Supposed To Give You Some Kind Of Notice Telling You Exactly How Long You Have To Get Your Stuff Out.
