So I just got bad news::::: Unfortunately, there is a widespread Flu outbreak in the state of Virginia. Because of this, the Birthing Inn that I will be delivering at has restricted visitors to only immediate Grandparents of the baby. I am bummed about this but I completely understand the risk of the her getting sick with so many people being in the ward that could possibly be contagious. Now I'll have 6 million visitors when I'm trying to get settled at home... Great. Leaving in a few hours for the hospital 😟😟😟

when I had my oldest daughter the swin flu was going around and I was only allowed to have one person with me the whole time and I wasn't even allowed to have visitors. it sucked because I was a ftm and scared out of my mind that I couldn't have my mom there with me

my hospital never allows anyone under 12 unless the sibling of the newborn and during winter months they only let immediate family come in too
