an OB is an actual doctor and can perform surgeries if necessary and a midwife cannot, midwives are there to make your experience more personalized

@hermommy, not always..... @rachaelbutsch I have a hospital trained midwife. The only thing she can't do is perform the c section if I were to need one. She is located at a hospital and can induce, vacuum, stitch, and anything else she needs to do. Just like an OBGYN. And if I were to need a c section she would be there to oversee that as well.
