I ask her for one at every appointment and she just tells me no

My doctor office only does another after the anatomy scan of there is a problem otherwise they don't

I'd pay for another one, and she mentioned she could come up with a reason to have one that the insurance would cover (I've had a lot of special tests done since my previous son I lost at 5 months gestation had potters syndrome type 2)

but after she said that I received the answer no every time I ask.

most offices only do 1 to 3 ultrasounds. One at the beginning for the date, one around 12 weeks for the nt, and another at 20 weeks for the anatomy. Unless something is wrong, they usually don't do another one.

It's not healthy to have so many ultrasounds anyway

It's normal to only get two ultrasounds until the end at least.

go to a 3d 4d place if you want another ultrasound you can pay them and see the baby better than black and white

Insurance companies often times only pay for 2 of them unless they are needed

the only ultrasounds I get now are to measure my cervical length to monitor my preterm labor risk. other than that it's normal to have one maybe two ultrasounds during an entire normal pregnancy

most don't get one, unless it's paid 3d kind after 20 weeks, unless they are high risk.
