I don't like what the IUDs do to "prevent" pregnancy..... I'm getting the nexplanon and probably in a few years an ablation

I'm getting my tubes tied after this!! I was going to after my 7 year old but I thought it was a way more complicated procedure than it actually is so I was scared. my Dr explained it to me and it's so simple now days!

I don't think I'm ready to get my tubes tied just yet but don't you have to be a certain age or have to have a certain amount of kids before you could get it ? @michellevaldez4750

I'm not sure I think at Catholic hospitals you do but not sure if all. I'm 36 though and it's my 4th. even with my son I was 28 and 3 kids so my Dr is more than happy to do it lol. I guess I'm technically high risk because of my age :-\

Have you had the implanon? its a 3 year birth control that is placed under the skin in your arm. I had it and it was awesome! I think it's similar to the shot but I hated the shot and bled the whole time and I got pregnant on the shot too! But the implanon worked very well and no weird bleeding issues.

I had the iud that was copper, the one without hormones and I bled so heavy I was terrified and I ripped it out!! probably not the best idea lol. I know the other one though doesn't cause such heavy bleeding. I just didn't want the hormones to make me gain weight v

When I was on the depo I bled heavy and had bad cramps .. So I want something that's either going to stop my period or make it light .. I don't want to have a lot of problems @michellevaldez4750

The thing is they do different things to different ppl. like my sister didn't get a period on depo at all and I bled not heavily but constantly just a little on it. you'll maybe need to just keep trying different ones til you find what works best for you.
