all these apps say my baby should be about 2.5 lbs or around there... but at the hospital yesterday…

They are guesstimates...probably just saying what the lowest weight can be, I'm assuming anything there or over is good. But as long as your dr say everything is on point then your all good.

They estimate the babies weight. With my son they told me at 8 months he was around 7 lbs, he was born at 8.2 but it's scary to think they get that big before their done growing!

Yeah I knew they were guesstimates but that's pretty far off lol @sharondeshonta @angelao777 but that's true that it could be lowest.. that would make sense to me

I want to know how much my baby weights. I haven't had an ultrasound sound sense i found out the sex that was 18w5d i am 31w 5d. My next appointment is at 32w thats this Thursday. Do i ask them?

I only got an ultrasound because I was in the hospital. otherwise my doctor wasn't planning on another one for a while. I'd ask tho just to try to see if they would @caylanismother

Lol yeah I don't know how they estimate it without guessing :) I think they tell you what they think it is, I've had friends told their babies would be much smaller than they turned out to be, maybe the dr didn't wanna scare them idk. @ caylanismother I would ask the dr can't hurt :)

I have weekly ultrasounds and they will check his weight every other week. last time when I was 36 weeks he weighed 7 pounds 8 oz. he's measured bigger all along, I hope he doesn't get to much bigger lol
