I have a 1 pm appointment with this home daycare. We've talked on the phone for about an hour in a half already. The owner seems cool but cool doesn't cut it. I have sooo many questions today. I hate my baby isn't old enough to talk yet. I make too much money to stay home and so does hubby. I'm going to stay prayed up and optimistic.

Do they have cameras?? Is it just her? Does she have people that work for her? definitely get her to let you do a big walk through of where your child will be.. I've worked in a state daycare, and there are so many things parents should ask to see but don't.. :/ I hope she works out for you!

I hope it does too. I have three close friends that own daycares but they're so far! Hubby and I work kind of far too. We wouldn't get home until 8 pm. I definitely have my questions though. She doesn't have cameras either. She has one other lady and her nephew but he only picks up and drops off. That is my biggest issue right now. I don't want any men around my daughter. She has one other newborn and I can't remember how many toddlers.

That's gotta be tough... Definitely just follow your gut.. and I completely agree with not wanting some random man around my daughter.. but if he had to be there I'd make sure I got to personally talk to every adult that would be there.. maybe see if you can also talk to one of the other parents? Day cares scare me.. especially from working in one..
