so I started a job a month ago and I HATE it . I work with all females and they aren't even the problem it's my manager she gossips like a young girl and she talks about everyone behind their backs and smiles in their face . my hours are inconsistent and I'm always closing which means I can't get my son in bed until almost midnight . I have a interview tomorrow and the pay is great and I will be working 9-5 Monday through Friday and have weekends off . if I get the job I need to find a way to quit the job I have now

just give them a 2 weeks notice. they don't need to know why. that's none of their buisness. of anything you can just say it's not the right fit for you.

just talk to your manager and tell her you got a better offer.

@jozell01 the new job said you would have to start monday? you could always ask the new job if you can start in 2 weeks as to give your other job proper notice. at the least one week notice. that looks good on your part.
