I've had the mirena IUD since April 1st. I have not stopped bleeding! My doctor didn't want to tie my tubes, he said there's too many risks involved and that the IUD was the way to go. I'm totally done with kids. My oldest will be 19 soon and my youngest of 5 kids is 3 months old. I'm not in a relationship but got the IUD anyways while I have insurance to cover it.

I would've gone to a different doctor if you were able to or make an appt at a local planned parenthood for a permanent birth control.

that happend to my friend and she never stopped bleeding until she took it out .
