my husband works 12 hr its pretty much u home alone all day wich sound good since im use to it but then again if its a better future for your baby why not think of it in a positive way its a new place and enjoy your hubby on his days off

@annivan0011, I would miss my family way too much.. it's the first baby girl in both our families and they wouldn't be able to visit unless we go back.

that's an awesome opportunity for you all. However I do understand the whole missing your family thing. I'm so close to my family I'd be homesick for a while lol. especially with a newborn. But look on the bright side he'll be making good money so there's always a chance that you and baby can fly home for visits. Maybe even save up enough for mom to come out and visit.

My husband works 10-12 hr shifts .. At first I was bored out my mind but now I'm use to it ( he asked me to stop working) I think it will be a little tough at first but you will get in a routine and find ways to do stuff.. Think of your future and do what's best for the baby .. I would move always wanted to go there
