I did at 3 months but because my baby ate too much and kept throwing up. If you feel comfortable doing it then it's your baby but I'd ask your doctor like @hermommy said

6 months is the safest

It's 6 months not four. Check currwnt guidelines on the AAP website.

Cereal in bottle is also a choking hazard.
