My daughter is almost 5 months. She doesn't do well with strangers. I went over to a friend's last night and all she did was scream. My friend held her and Halrey lost it. It got to the point if someone even looked at her she would scream like she was being hurt. We left early because of it. :( She is staying with her grandparents this weekend and I'm afraid she will freak out. :(

it's was awful. I've never seen her cry like that. She couldn't catch her breath she was so terrified.

I read up on stranger anxiety & it starts around this time. At 5 months my baby would scream when my family & friends come around. I didn't know what that was about until I researched it & the doctor confirmed its normal.

Maybe try having someone come to your house and you can all sit together, she may feel more comfortable while she's surrounded by her own stuff
