Just thinking about when my daughter was in the nicu. She was born 11 weeks early at 29 weeks. She spent 40 days in the nicu. Although it was hard one thing I loved was her nurses. Nicu nurses are like angels from heaven literally. They were all polite, sympathetic, sweet, caring, loving. I always trusted them with my baby. I'd go every day from 9-6 to spend time with my daughter and I use to talk to the nurses and watch them with my baby. They also taught me a lot of what I know now. Nurses sometimes sacrifice time with their family just to take care of mine and I'll forever be grateful to each and every nurse who took part in helping raise and grow my daughter in the nicu.

@amaperalta03, I worked for a short time as a NICU nurse before transferring to the ICU and we form bonds with the family and the babies. We come across so many families and they are always so appreciative. It takes team work for excellent results. Thank you for acknowledging the hard and dedicated job we do. 😉

This gave me so much hope being that my babygirl has a heart defect and that she will possibly be in the nicu a month or so ! I am terrified being that I want be able to be there every second ! I pray she has gr8 nurses
