So seeing if anyone can help me. My grandmother has decided to take me tomorrow to pick out a car seat for my baby shower and I was thinking either a 3 in 1 or a 4 in 1 convertible seat but I don't know what to look at when buying a car seat and the last time my grandma was at least 18 years ago when my little cousin was born. Thank you for any help you can give this first time mommy and daddy to be.

something I learned was that if you get the convertable type of car seat they don't make them with handles so you cant use it as an infant carrier as well. everyone has told me to just get an infant car seat (im getting the ones that click into the bases in an out of the car) and then the convertable ones are great 1st birthday gifts. hope that helps :)

If you get a graco click connect 40 it's an infant carrier but they can be in it til around age two. 40lbs and 35 in long is the weight/length limit. I love it.

My aunt is also getting me a travel system and figured I could put the convertible in my husbands truck but I don't know what to look at to when deciding between the many choices.
