The same thing happened to me!! I was pregnant a year ago and had a miscarriage. I swore that if I had a girl her name would be Isabella and a boy Atticus. Later on, my friend got pregnant and named her daughter Isabella. That's why with this baby I haven't disclosed her name to a lot of people. I tell them they'll find out after the baby is born.

Just spell it differently 😊. My daughter is Makenzie.

I have all J names. My sister, cousins and sister in laws know to stay away from J's. So far I have 3 nephews & 3 nieces with another niece/nephew & cousin on the way and none of them start with J's 😂 after the new baby Idc what anyone names their kid.

Can I ask why it matters? So they will have the same name, you aren't family are you? One of my high school bestfriends named her daughter Peighton 2 years prior to me getting pregnant and I named my daughter Payton too. If you like that name stick with it.

Yeah.. I don't see the big deal. It's your baby, name them whatever you want. And your friend can name their kid whatever they want. MacKenzie is a really popular name so you can't really say she "stole" it form you. I say get over it and don't make your decisions based on other people
