Having terrible morning sickness (all day) and my OB finally called me in a prescription for Phenagran.... I literally pass out on it!!!! I can't take it during the day at all! I have a 2 year old and a full time schedule I can't be more exhausted than I already am. Why can't he just give me some Zofran!!!!!!!!

I have taken phenergan for years. Break the pill into quarters. Once you stop moving at the end of the day it's still gonna knock you out but it's better than the immediate.

Because taking Zofran for long periods of time can possibly cause your child to have a cleft palate. apparently it's the same type of drug they give cancer patients when I'm nauseous. I had severe morning sickness and they prescribed me that in the ER my OB was very surprised they would give me that with no hesitation. Try eating pretzels Non-Stop. just keep something in your stomach and that would help.

I think Zofran can cause birth defects if I'm not mistaken.
