I still can't believe at the age of 13 I lost my right ovary and the Fallopian tube leading to the other ovary was severely damaged all due to a massive cyst rupture on both. The doctors told my parents I would probably never conceive. I remember being pretty upset about it but I was still so young so it didn't seem to effect me too much. All my friends in and right out of high school had there baby's and I lived through there joy when helping them out. But again never really bothered me that I wouldn't have that one day. I think it honestly hit me at about 25. I had been with my boyfriend at the time for a little over 3 years and I thought "wow, I'll never be able to give him the joy of his own offspring". He was never really bothered by it but I think that's when I decided I really wanted to have children. Fast forward to a couple years later and here I am single, pregnant and expecting her any day now. The doctors are still so puzzled as to how this happened. My boyfriend and I broke up a few weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I truly believe he was in my life for the soul purpose of helping give me my beautiful miracle. I don't know how my one and only ovary that was damaged did what it needed to do.. But I do know God. I am so grateful. ✝
