@faith0113, which again is super common for twins. My last ultrasound told us one 4.15 and the other was 4.2. They were both 4.8 at birth. You can't completely trust the ultrasounds. We were super worried about baby a bc we thought she was a lot smaller. It wasn't the case. I bet your babies come out perfect and just fine. The stress level with twins... Insane. I wish you the best of luck. Keep me posted!!!
I'm calling around now tryna get my insurance switched over first this is such a process but in my heart i believe they will be fine its jus nerve wrecking that's all thank you for responding @twinmama510
@faith0113, I'm so sorry sweetie!!! I was never told I needed an amnio. They never ran tests. I was told IUGR (which is interuterine growth restriction - small babies) is very very common in twin pregnancies. I'm glad you're getting a second opinion. When do you see someone else?
that's great to hear and i also have been a total wreck baby b is smaller and they claim to not know why running every test possible but coming back all clear at first they thought because the way the umbilical cord is on the edge of the placenta but idk I'm getting a second opinion now but as 22 weeks 2 days baby b was 10oz and baby a was a little over a pound the specialist was jus so rude like i cannot believe the amno test results came back normal i mean so rude how dare she so I'm hoping she had gained a pound as least cus they basically was saying she 3 weeks behind but of course i Google and she seems to be like almost 2 weeks but she's been like that since i found out at 5 weeks and they thought she wouldn't make it but she still here I'm so scared i have 2 children already 12 and 5 so I'm not new to being pregnant jus this twin pregnancy is scary wen sum doctors give u no little to no hope
@faith0113, Aw congrats on your twins. I was a nervous wreck my entire pregnancy!!! I just thought for sure they'd be unwell and have to stay in the hospital. We certainly had our scares during the pregnancy. But, everything turned out great. They came home with us on the fourth day!!! Actually, they were wheeled out of the OR with me and straight into recovery. They latched as soon as we got settled. I tandem fed. It was like a dream come true. What are your concerns? If you want to talk, let me know. By the way, my girls stopped growing in utero at 37 weeks weighing 4lbs 8oz at birth and are perfectly healthy. I hope that gives you some hope.
😍😍 congrats they are Adorable i can't wait til my twin girls get here I'm pretty nervous tho
