your 8 weeks now so thats really early. if you had your ct scan say around 4-6 weeks the. you should be okay. its too early for the radiation to have an effect on the baby. hopefully everything will be fine. dont worry and try to relax till you get your first ultrasound

when will I get my first ultrasound? I have been told not till 16-20wks unless I want to confirm due date. I have an appt with my midwife next Friday. (9 weeks 3 days) should I request one then?

you should get one around 9-12 weeks. i would not wait till im 16 weeks girl lol. i had 2 already and im having another one on tuesday and im only 12 weeks. definitely request one, youll be able to hear the heartbeat at this stage also

You should be fine. I had a Spec Scan done not long after conceiving. And it's like a MRI scan where they inject some kind of radioactive stuff into your body. I had no idea I was pregnant. And my baby is fine from what they tell me, no abnormalities or defects. And it was legit right after I conceived so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I had an ultra sound at 6 and 7 weeks because I didn't know my last period. Then I had one at 12 and an anatomy scan at 18.. I also go back in another week for another ultrasound to get more measurements cause he got stubborn during the last ultrasound. I think it depends on the dr..
