my husband called me last night and said my dad was taking him out for a drink (my dad works for him) then he called me an hour before we were supposed to be at his nephews birthday dinner and tells me that my dad wasn't doing well yesterday and that he (my husband) is drunk cuz my dad kept buying him doubles (scotch on the rocks).... I was mad that he was drunk however when he explained what had been going on, I forgave him and actually thanked him for being there for my dad.... yes that may sound odd, but just my husband being there with him even if they didn't talk about the situation helped my dad feel a bit better... I'm glad I found my husband, after all my failed attempts at relationships, yes I have complained about things before but he really is a great guy... just wanted to put this up here as sort of a brag rather than a rant 😀
