What have you ladies experienced with the Mirena IUD ? 🤔

Got pregnant after having it in 15 months

@mybabyloves, after taking it out or while you still had it in??

I've had it for a year yesterday and I haven't had any trouble with it but it is different for everybody

@taaylor_victoriaa, while it was still "in"..never had any pain no problem at all. Started to feel different, someone teased me that I was pregnant. So of course I took a test and it was positive. I went to doctor and they got me right in because I hadn't had the IUD taken out and they said it was gone. My midwife said that it can move and come out without even noticing sometimes

@maciesmomma11, @mybabyloves I want to get on birth control for sure, but I'm so hesitant as to which one

I will get an IUD after this baby too. It is the only one I have tried so far that I didn't have a reaction from. And I would like one more child so if it fails again then itvwas meant to be and then I will get my tubes tied.

before Having my son I got it and got a lot of infections because of it

@mybabyloves, that's crazy! I plan on getting the IUD so hopefully it doesn't fail for me unless the time is right because I do plan on having more kids
