Haven't been eating much lately. I just haven't been hungry! I eat around 800-1000 calories a day at most. It's double what I was eating when I got pregnant, but half of what I'm *supposed* to be eating. The thing is, I have to force myself to eat that much! I'm simply not hungry. I have no appetite. I eat dinner at night when I make it for my boyfriend because he wont leave unless he knows I've eaten, and then I'll eat one or two snacks throughout the night. I feel terrible because now they think Isabelle is measuring small and I think it's my fault. 😞 I can't help it and I don't know what to do! I almost make myself sick eating as much as I do now, I don't think I could double it...I'm already a terrible mom and she isn't even here yet...

if you were eating less than what you stated before you got pregnant that is definitely not healthy and your current caloric intake is low with that said during pregnancy you only need an additional 300 calories daily... may want to talk to a nutritionist though because the numbers you mention are way too low... not trying to be mean here but have you struggled with an eating disorder?

@sparklymama I have. I was in the process of getting better when I got pregnant but I wasn't quite there and when you eat so little for so long, your stomach shrinks and it's very hard to actually be able to eat more without feeling sick. I'm gaining weight pretty normally, I've gained about 10 pounds. But I'm not really showing so my doctor thinks she might be measuring small and I can't help but think that it's my fault. 😕😕 I do try to eat more sometimes but I end up getting sick because I'm just so overstuffed.

I understand @katarama a nutritionist can really help... oh and protein shakes or ensure is helpful too and you don't feel as "sick" full if that makes sense
