Rant: Am I wrong for not inviting my in laws to my baby shower !? They literally do NOT message me to ask how my daughter or how my pregnancy is going ? I'm the one sending them pics and asking them how they are and I get no response. My husband asked who I'm inviting from his side of the family because they all of a sudden want to be involved and he got mad when I said I wasn't going to invite them. The only person who somewhat talks to me is his 13 year old sister who asks at times to see my daughter but when I text his dad to see when I can take her over I either get a "were busy" or no response at all. I posted a video of my last ultrasound on Instagram and they message him asking him why I haven't taken her over and I'm keeping her from them? Why couldn't they ask me? They make me seem like the bad one when I'm trying ? Now I'm seen even worse because I don't want them there. I'm not going to force anyone to be in my kids lives. I tried already. His twin brother is constantly saying "I'm going over today to see her" I hear nothing and months later I get the same message and then get ignore again. Like what the hell ? Shits annoying as hell.

you're not wrong on not inviting them. they haven't been there in the beginning so why try to get them involved now? but personally I would invite them just to see if they actually come. I did that with a few family members and friends for mine.

Yeah I'm going to just so they can't say I didn't. I highly doubt they're going to come anyways. If they do then hey, more presents lol @hanna_lynn

Well u did try to involve them by sending pics u should've just sent the invites too... Granted if they replied or not. I sent invites to ppl that never answered n if they came great if not whatever but u always know u tried to involve ppl.

I didn't invite my in laws because same reason as you they never ask how my child is doing and they don't even ask for him neither. They only call when they need money. Once they found out they weren't invited she said she will show up uninvited bkuz it's her sons baby and he paid for it. I told her step foot at my house I will embarrass you and kick you out. She didn't care and I told her come and try me and said whatever I'm having a bbyshower for her and your not invited 😹😹 like if I even cared. Almost due and no BabyShower yet. I asked her so when is my babies bbyshower & got so angry Kuz she knew she was bullshititng from the beginning
