not quite sure. it isn't the best thing in terms of "all natural/sensitivity" wise for baby, I bought separate detergent just for her clothes and I don't use dryer sheets when drying them, I use these wool balls that have no scent or products in them. that's just me though I would ask your pediatrician but for the first 6 months to a year they're incredibly sensitive and I'd stay away from anything not produced specifically for infants to be safe. also you'd have to mix the baking soda in with other detergent anyway which can be bad for their skin, and the baby detergent (Dreft is the name) is made to already do a great job at cleaning without the harshness and colors, dyes, etc.
@king24, up to you I used regular detergent it is sensitive kind and my kids had no issues and I used dryer sheets I scented mainly. All up to you really
@hlanc4, I'm like on a full debate bc I know baking soda works really good for all sorts of things but I don't want to prewash his clothes in it than when he's born I have to redo it π
