my boyfriend's dog is seriously starting to get on my nerves. she doesn't listen and I end up having to chase her and pick her up. SHE WEIGHS ALMOST 50LBS! She's probably gonna be the reason I go into labor. Personally it's not heavy for me, I'm used to having to carry 200lb furniture bc of my old job. However I know it isn't good on the baby because it is still strenuous. 😕😕 She also dug her nails into my hand and I've got a huge gash 😡😡 little shit. She used to be so good, I don't understand why she's acting up! These last few weeks have been pure hell.

@cheyenne95 she wasn't trying to play, she was trying to eat a wasp and she's allergic. I called for her and she wouldn't listen and I had to go get her and she ran from me because she runs when she thinks she's in trouble. She took off down the street the other day and then got under my feet, bit my ankle, and caused my to fall that same night.

@sam.g we've tried to get her into activities before but literally all she cares about is eating. that's why she weighs so much lol. She's a pug so she's about 30lbs overweight but no matter what diet we put her on she just keeps gaining weight because she will just eat things off of the floor. she ate a clump of dirt the other day. she only cares about food. she has a whole basket of toys but she hardly ever wants anything to do with them.

Oh, a pug! Yeah, they usually don't do much. I work in veterinary medicine, and she is really overweight. I suggest you bring her to the vet and get her thyroid gland checked. Another thing you could try (for entertaining her) is the hide-a-treat type toys. They are like a puzzle, and have to figure out how to get the food out. The tricky ones can take hours. Just make sure you reduce her calories from dog food to allow for the treats. Good luck!
