Why don't you tell him something like 'if you wanna be in the baby's life, cool, if not, just be straight up, but don't hold it against me 18 years from now and try coming into their life.' Easier said than done, I know. But my cousin was a single momma and she kept trying to get the guy to be a part of her son's life her whole pregnancy until finally she just told him he knows where to find her but if it takes over a month that the child is born to not even bother.

I'd probably just ignore him from now on. Let him get a court order for visitation. file for your child support. only do exactly what the state is willing to enforce and move on.

I did tell him girl. when I had just found out I was pregnant he tried to leave he said good luck to you and the baby. I wasn't having it & he decided he "would be around". But as time went on I changed my views on having him around. It doesn't bug me at all if he's here or not & I did get to tell him last night that if he wanted to leave and have nothing to do with the baby I had no problem with it. I reminded him that he tried to do it before & that I messed up trying to keep him around. I just needed to know whether I should change my number and move on. but he wouldn't give me an answer & I do not want to be one of those mothers who refuses to let the father see his child. But if he does take over a month after the baby is born or even days after I will not talk to him. he will have to fly out here and find me if he wants to be a part of his life. I want to do child support but I don't have an address for him since he moved back to NY I only have his old address when he live in cali & I literally have little info on him I didn't think to look at his ID and stuff when we were just messing around cause I didn't expect to get pregnant. & I do regret it now. Only thing is he thinks I know all his info so he is scared of child support. I'm trying to get all the info I can without being to obvious that I don't have any at all lol

I was in the same boat. He didn't think my son was his & ive been hearing he wants to file for shared custody but im not having it. If you want to file child support on him they can easily track him down with the info you do have of his. Keep your head up for you & your little man!

@meeshell24, If you know his full name and a phone number you could probably do a background check and get enough information to provide the state agency and then they do the rest. Here in Utah there's and office of recovery services that takes care of everything for you. Most states have something like that. And even if it takes a year to get the ball rolling, they will garnish his tax returns to pay you.

and a background will cost you about 20 bucks and you can do it online.

@luuuuuucyyy, He's tried saying the baby wasn't his before. he hasn't said anything about shared custody which I would probly lose my mind over. & I will deff try and see if they can get anything on him with the info that I do have. That's what they all say. My sons dad said the same thing & he look just like him. Don't even worry about it, I doubt he will. Im sure they will girl, even just with his old address. We are great(:
