I drank peppermint tea every morning and had peppermints and preggie pops to suck on during the day. My Dr also prescribed me Diclegis which helped too.
diclegis was the devil for me. I got so sick and dehydrated I had to go to the hospital, ondansetron is Zofran so don't freak out when you find out that's what it is, Phenergan is the other anti nausea pill they give, Zofran is the only one that helped me. Unfortunately even at 20 weeks I still have morning sickness, ginger anything gum, cough drops, tea, ginger ale, helps alot, so does sprite, Gatorade to help stay hydrated, sucking on something helps peppermints, or breath mints, or jolly ranchers, people will tell you crackers by your bed and eat them before you get up but it never really helped me, if already feel sick and drink water I've found that's what makes me throw up. I wait to drink water until after I'm done puking. ideally if you can get up and out of bed without rushing to barf eat something light toast, or oatmeal. or cereal and your tummy should calm down. I was one who woke up out of my sleep to barf (thanks babygirl😑) so I had a system down and set an alarm an hour before I wanted to be up for the day and took a Zofran with the tinyest drink of water, so that by the time I woke up it had time to kick in, that's how I survived until about 18 weeks, now it's not every morning but it still happens a few times a week

Usually the doctors prescribe you your meds right?? Chewing gum helps a bit! @princessalaynasmommy

@madretobe, yes your doctor has to prescribe the nausea medicines.
